Ascension Training is a holistic health and fitness centre in the heart of Epsom in Surrey.
Additional to our high-quality gym, you will also find independent Therapists able to support your daily health and wellbeing through sports and deep tissue massages, as well as assisting with injuries and niggles. Treatments are open to members and non-members alike.
Ben is a talented, passionate massage therapist who has studied at St Mary’s University, Roehampton and successfully achieved an ITEC Level 4 Diploma in Sports Massage. Ben’s particular passion resides in sport. Having competed in multiple Ironman events, cycle races, marathons, ultramarathons and CrossFit events you can have confidence in knowing he understands the effects that sport and life puts upon the human body both physically and mentally.
Ryan is a Chartered Physiotherapist, specialising in musculoskeletal conditions. Outside of his private work at Ascension Training, he works as a Senior MSK Physiotherapist within the NHS. Having had experience of an extensive range of injuries, he is passionate about empowering and educating people to take control of their rehabilitation journeys. He has strong beliefs that active movements provide a strong foundation for the human body to become robust and powerful. Aside from physiotherapy, Ryan is also a Personal Trainer and CrossFit Coach, thus having a wealth of knowledge to allow for a more in-depth rehabilitation plan and an understanding of the desire of those wanting to recover and get back to an active lifestyle in whatever capacity is important to them.
As a qualified Sports Therapist and CrossFit Coach, Jen's main objective is supporting an individual through their pursuit of optimal movement and wellbeing. She will empower you to take responsibility for their recovery, pain reduction and overall fitness by implementing goal driven actions which can be applied both in daily life and in exercise/sport. Jen strives to help with any unforeseen obstacles that may arise along your journey by maintaining contact and adapting treatments or training approach when required.
